You made a great point with your post with which I concur. I mean, we disagree on the ranking, but IMO everything here is at least an 8 (I think on my review I even gave an 8.5 as the lowest grade).

My favorite Maiden album. Here's why: 8 & 7: Stranger In A Strange Land, Deja Vu (excellent) 6 & 5: Sea Of Madness, Alexander The Great (amazing) 4 to 1: Caught Somewhere In Time, Wasted Years, Heaven Can Wait, The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner (flawless)

I personally would love to listen to renditions of Fortunes Of War and The Edge Of Darkness. But taking into account the circumstances, I believe it's practically impossible. Were they to be played live or reworked, it would have been several years ago.

Yup. July 7, Estádio da Luz. First time seeing Maiden at a stadium BTW. And given the size of the arena (70 000 seats so it takes roughly 80 000 people, perhaps 90 000) if it sells out (as I suspect it will) it will be a monster of a show.

Bought my ticket today in a presale (75€). Arrived about 10 minutes before the store opened and already had roughly 40/50 people in front of me. When I left one hour and a half later there was still the same number of people in the queue. So yeah... seems to be selling nice, here.
