    The 2011 Tour Thread! (SPOILERS)

It was dropped for Wratchild. Benjamin Breeg was already in the set. From what I understand, it was dropped becuase it wasn't working too well live, but I could be wrong, another forumer might be able to help

    Final Frontier: one year later

Well Facebook earlier reminded me that a year ago today I posted a status saying 'The new Maiden album has arrived!". There is no higher authority.....

    The 2011 Tour Thread! (SPOILERS)

They're hardly likely to drop their signature song. And 'Beast' is always fun for the effects at least. And it's one of the songs most associated with the band, so don't see why they'd drop it

    Final Frontier: one year later

Much like AMOLAD, it's a grower, and I love it now. El DDorado and The Final Frontier, which I wasn't too keen on initially, have gone up in my books big time. (Especally after seeing them live at Nottingham Arena). Song ranking (Best to worst): -The Talisman -Starblind -When The Wild Wind...

    The 2011 Tour Thread! (SPOILERS)

Various press releases (from the top of my head, the Sonisphere 2010 announcement) stated that it was a 50,000 sold out show (of which I was proudly there).

    The 2011 Tour Thread! (SPOILERS)

Depends though, especially on the equipment and the venue itself. Remember this is the first time they've played the O2.

    If Maiden does "Maiden England"

That one still pops up every so often, so I wouldn't be suprised if they played it again at some point

    If Maiden does "Maiden England"

If they didn't do it on the Eddie Rips Up The World or SBIT tours, I don't see them doing it on a Maiden England tour. No big loss, there are better songs, and hopefully we might get some treats from Somewhere In Time

I may have seen my last Maiden gig

I was at the show last night, and how anyone could say they don't want to see Maiden again after seeing that is beyond me. Price, fair enough, but to say it's the same show each time? Nah...

    The 2011 Tour Thread! (SPOILERS)

Yeah I was there, anaged to get to the fourth row and stay there. Painful, but worth it!

Possible North American spring 2012 tour!

But the two years prior to that they were playing nothing but classics from the 80's (bar 'Fear Of The Dark') The band has 15 albums now..they do about 15, 16 songs each show..even if they did one song from each album, they wouldn't b able to fit all the 'classics' in. That's why I prefer what...
