This was easier to put together than I thought. Here's what the totals will look like for the reunion era, as of the end of 2024 (assuming no changes to the setlist on any remaining show):
edit - I can't get the tables to format properly

That's a fair point. Probably the best way to do it would be to count what portion of the year a song is played. BTATS would get credit for 0.01 in 2010 (played once in 98 shows). Other examples from 2010 - Brave New World would (approx) get credit for one third, The Trooper two thirds and El...
For context, here's the number of years each song has been played, during the reunion era:

I've been looking for a vinyl copy of "Silicon Messiah". I should have bought it when it was re-released 7(?) years ago. I periodically check ebay and the prices are outrageous (usually a few hundred dollars - sometimes close to $1,000 CAD).
Although this one seems unlikely, I'd really like to see it. Unfortunately there aren't many reunion-era songs that have been played much after the initial concert tour ("Wicker Man" and "Blood Brothers" being the main exceptions).
It would be great to see a setlist similar to Rock in Rio. Drop...
Apparently I'm going to be featured as a "fan of the week" in the near future. I sent an email to the "Eddietor" (who manages the online magazine) with a quick Maiden-related anecdote. He (she?) wrote back a week or two later, and asked me some follow-up questions, which will be turned into a...
Unfortunately you're probably right. Around a decade ago, I did a work exchange in Buenos Aires. After, I spent five weeks travelling across Argentina. It's such a beautiful country. Before WWI, it was one of the wealthiest nations in the world. It's been bled dry by a century of corruption and...
I'd love to see "To Tame A Land", but it's very difficult on bass - perhaps the most challenging song Harris has ever played. I wonder if, at this stage in his career, he'd be willing to devote that much effort to such a difficult, obscure song. (I hope he proves me wrong though).
For what it's worth - I have eight of his ten studio albums. I think "Silicon Messiah" is the best by a wide margin.
"Silicon Messiah" is vaguely a concept album about man versus machine. (Like some of his other concept albums, the story is unclear). "Stare at the Sun" is arguably the best song...
I hope he tours in North America again soon. Unfortunately, given his recent health issues, I'm not sure if that's in the cards. (For what it's worth, the turnout at the Toronto, Canada shows in 2017 and 2018 were dismal - surely that doesn't help).
I'll be going to the Toronto show. If anyone from out of town has any questions about Toronto (or Montreal), let me know.
I'll likely do one other show in the US. Does anyone have a sense of what the odds of winning FTTB are in a bigger city (ie Chicago/Boston/Philly) compared to a smaller one...
I'm located in Toronto and am probably not going to see the shows in western Canada (at least, I haven't bought tickets yet). Here's my reasoning:
Canada's a big country. Just under half of our population is located in the Quebec City to Windsor corridor. The closest of the three shows is in...
I'm curious as to why there are only 9 songs. I don't know the length of this album, but the studio version of these songs adds up to only around 43 minutes. His live performances are usually 80-90 minutes.
