    Maiden’s political silence

Yes, supporting a war criminal currently bombing hospitals and apartment buildings would absolutely stop me from continuing to be a fan. I get that it doesn't bother you but please stop imputing your own lack of conscience or depth of thought about this issue on others. You are not the default.

    Gangland vs. Total Eclipse

I like Total Eclipse better than Gangland but I think Total Eclipse is much more similar to the rest of the songs on the record whereas Gangland sort of shakes thing up a bit. So for that reason I appreciate it.

    Maiden’s political silence

And trying to categorize criticism of Maiden's silence as an accusation that Maiden are "anti-democracy" is a straw argument and red herring.

    Maiden’s political silence

I agree with you throughout this thread. While I don't think Maiden staying silent here is necessarily the worst thing in the world, I am definitely disappointed by it. This isn't some narrow issue, we're talking about the naked aggression of an authoritarian state currently slaughtering...

1988: SSoaSS or O:M or AJFA?

Maiden are my all time favs but I personally believe that Operation Mindcrime is the best Heavy Rock record ever released. However overall this is like choosing which one of your children you love the most.

    Fc forum and blaze bayley

Weird how you seem to have trouble getting along with people. A true mystery.

    Fc forum and blaze bayley

Blaze stepped into an impossible situation and did the best he could. Bruce is the best and him coming back was the greatest thing ever but I like the Blaze stuff for what it is and appreciate that he helped keep the band going in the dark years.

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

Yeah it's true, and I agree that Maiden has kept pricing generally fair. Still very frustrating in the moment.

Legacy Of The Beast Post-Pandemic Leg

I just spent 240 USD on ONE ticket to see Maiden in Tampa Florida thanks to the Ticketmaster "Platinum" self-scalping thing. I only did it because the entire site was down all day until I could get in for the pre-sale and that was all that was left on the floor. I gotta say guys, after 35...

    Bruce nasty to fans??

Meanwhile, a buddy of mine who is not a Maiden fan but knows that I adore them saw Bruce in a hotel bar once, slipped past his bodyguard (despite being blocked at least once), and Bruce was cool to him and took a photo with him. He's gonna hold that photo over my head until the day I die...

    Bruce nasty to fans??

These are all professional autograph hounds. It's a disgusting subculture, you can find these guys around every rock show in the world. Just shameless badgering and harassment trying to get merch signed to resell. Not saying Bruce is Mr. Warm and Fuzzy but I feel no sympathy for the people...

When has Adrian played the Lado Earth most recently?

New Single - The Writing on the Wall

I agree with you and like the new Maiden single but that Flotsam & Jetsam song kicks ass.

New Single - The Writing on the Wall

Yeah, the vocals are a little washed in the mix but I'd like to hear it in a better format that crappy YouTube before I pass final judgement.

New Single - The Writing on the Wall

You know what, I like that they are still trying new things at this stage in their career. It's definitely different but it's a good song. I dig it. EDIT: Also, the video gives me Aeon Flux vibes. Cool.
