The Great Unknown or WTRRD would be cool (I mean, really any of the other BOS songs would be cool to see live), but if I had to pick I'd rather hear Man of Sorrows or Shadows of the Valley. I think they're better songs than the former selection.
Would love to hear Killers. It's one of my favorite songs that I discovered kind of late, so I never got a chance to see them live where they played the song.
Here's my setlist then, assuming Killers is in.
1. If Eternity Should Fail
2. Speed of Light
3. Still Life
4. Tears of a Clown
5. Brave...
I was gonna say, I wouldn't go by the shirts as good indicators of what songs may be in the setlist. Otherwise, we would have had Ghost of the Navigator (which i wouldn't mind hearing live...) thanks to the artwork on the back of one of the main NA shirts in 2016.
However, they did have a...
Except there hasn't been any Maiden updates for awhile now.
The Ghost talk has only been going on for the past five days.
Not that hard to sift through, whenever we do finally get some Maiden updates.
Would like to think the same thing for St. Louis, but alas, there was no event shirt in 2013 and I'm not holding my breath for one this year. So just because they haven't been there in so long isn't a guarantee.
St. Louis has the Gateway Arch, probably one of the most prominent monuments in the...
Interesting choices. Would always love to hear Rime again, but I doubt we ever will barring a possible final tour. Iron Maiden will never be dropped, and I think the band said they were done playing Run to the Hills after the Maiden England tour so the chances of that showing up are slim.
The...
Also very similar to what cdm was saying previously, the pit/floor area where they're playing in St. Louis is also very small... maybe 25 feet from the stage to the first row of "seats". This is perhaps one of the biggest differences between the floor at an amphitheater and the floor in a...
I'm glad that two of the three times I'm seeing them this summer are going to be indoors. Not the biggest fan of summer concerts outside, way too hot and uncomfortable.
Same thing with Ozzy and ACDC the last time they came through St. Louis. I was interested in going to the ACDC concert in 2012/13 but the cheapest tickets (nosebleed sections) were over $100.
Like you said LooseCannon, fuck that.
Trust me, they do. Might be a little higher than usual Maiden standards, but $120 is a damn fine price for up close compared to a lot of other acts today.
Bon Jovi = $270 tickets.
Roger Waters = $700 tickets.
Def Leppard = $290 tickets.
Guns N Roses have fucking $770 tickets.
Deep Purple...
I've said it the last couple of years... but I would love anything from The Final Frontier for the US portion, since we didn't get an appropriate tour back in 2010-11 (only having El Dorado played live).
I would personally love to see Coming Home or The Talisman. Maybe swap out COTD and Blood...
Yeah I was in the same boat. Entered in it, but didn't win. I did, however, get to the arena around four hours in advance and was the first 30-40 people inside so I still managed to get within 5 feet of the front.
My pit tickets for St. Louis and Nashville were $118 and $120. The base ticket price was $95, if I recall, and the extra $20-25 were the fucking "convenience" and "service" fees...
FTTB submissions and drawings are closer to the date of the concerts. If I recall, they start setting those up...
I didn't have any hassle with any of mine, though I think the cities I'm going to are on the lower-priority lists for a lot of people. Seems like most people will be going to the Chicago/Texas/coast shows. I got my St. Louis tickets first, right at 10:01 am. Then did Nashville. Then did Kansas...
Tickets bought for St. Louis, Kansas City, and Nashville. Got floor seats for St. Louis and Nashville, and third row seats for Kansas City on the right side of the stage (since I've usually gone left in the past, figured I'd switch it up for a change... see Janick up close).
I do hate the...
Nice. I'm all ready to get my tickets to Nashville, Kansas City, and St. Louis tomorrow. Going to get floor tickets for St. Louis and Nashville, and seats for Kansas City.
I can't believe that I'm saying I'm not going to the Chicago show... It seems wrong, because that's always been my...
Got my presale codes around noon today (CST). Don't forget, they're sent to you in the form of a private message on the official fanclub forum... not in your email.
