Yep. Chicago was only will call. Whoever buys the tickets will need to make sure they take whatever card along to the venue (that they purchased the tickets with). Indy and Nashville both gave me the option to go mobile. There was no option for printing tickets.

I don't know about in every amphitheater, but in the one in St. Louis and Chicago, the pit/floor area is relatively small. Like, so small that only maybe a hundred or two hundred people could fit in it befoe it's full. They do, what was it, 50 FTTB drawings for each show? And each person gets...

Just an update, Cincinnati and St. Paul are out for me. I will be doing the Nashville, Chicago, Indianapolis triangle.

Nashville, Chicago, and Indianapolis for sure. Possibly Cincinnati and/or St. Paul as well, they'll be my two wild card choices for the time being. Just have to decide if three shows will be enough or if I go all in and do all five shows.

Would love for them to return to St. Louis, though I have a feeling the odds for my city specifically again are low. Here's to hoping they hit at least a few cities within a 300-350 radius of me. Chicago is almost a guarantee, but here's also hoping for Kansas City, Nashville, Indianapolis...

I prefer indoor arenas to outdoor amphitheaters. But that's mainly just because I hate the heat, and Maiden usually tour US in the scorching summers. I've also noticed that when I see them indoors, the sound is somehow a bit better than when it's outside. Obviously there are tons of factors...

I'd take the things Bruce says on stage with a grain of salt. May just be caught up in the moment or looking for a crowd cheer. He always says things like that, and said similar things at a few of the US concerts in 2017, about "seeing you next year". Obviously, it wouldn't be the next year.

Looks like my hopes of Ghost opening for Iron Maiden next year are gone. Ghost is doing their own tour in Feb-March, then apparently opening for Metallica from May-September... Unless Maiden happen to tour the US throughout April, or after September. Which both are a possibility, I guess.

I didn't really hear anything in that song that resembled anything from Powerslave. You could argue maybe just a bit of inspiration, but there's no way it was ripped off.

I don't think they've ever done a tour where they exclusively did just one continent. Don't know why they'd start now, considering they have so many fans that are not European and this is perhaps their best set list and showmanship in recent years, if not ever. LOTB 2019 leg is guaranteed...
