Yesterday I had a rant at a group of kids I work with in an extra curricular club. They were being quite disrespectful and not listening. It seems to be a recurring theme with this particular group. I said along the lines of ‘Do you realise that I do this club for free and I don’t get paid to be...
I enjoyed the song live up until about 2011. I remember listening to En Vivo and thinking he was starting to struggle with it live. Before that he always carried it off pretty well.
The Rock in Rio version is iconic. Plus H in drop D! It sounds so heavy.
Aces High aside, I would have loved to have seen the show again. I just can’t justify the cost of a ticket for Knebworth. It’s a shame, as it is down the road from me.
Empire of the Clouds. I love the ‘Hear lie their dreams…’ verse. It’s just a shame it takes 16 minutes to get there.
Man of Sorrows. I just find it a bit bland and doesn’t add much to the album.

I am currently drinking a Marks and Spencer Winter Ale. It is...
How You Remind Me by Nickelback. It is just an incredibly well written song from a very bland band.
All Summer Long by Kid Rock. A great pastiche of Sweet Home Alabama from a complete twat.
I have a £10 Waterstones voucher and I am debating on picking up the book. I would get it for £29.99 with the voucher. I am going to be blunt: is the book worth it?
It’s a cracking song that deserves some recognition. TETMD is great, but overplayed. Infinite Dreams will never come back. OTGDY could have fitted in well on the RFYL or TFP tours.
It was in 2021 when some DJ/journalist was doing a Twitter listening party to SSOASS. There were lots of quotes attached to songs that would appear when you got to that particular song at the same time as everyone else. When it got to OTGDY, I remember the tweet saying something along the lines...
