I actually like the “strain”, it’s the aged air raid siren and it’s still Bruce, just older and more weathered. As long as he does it in modesty and not throughout an entire song, I’m perfectly fine with it.

The new song is a bit pedestrian. Kind of basic sounding, as are a lot of Andy Sneap produced albums.

I completely agree. My favorite sounding live Maiden album. Love the way Nicko sounds on that one. Although I do hear that awful audience volume change in the beginning of Wrathchild. It’s okay though cuz I tend to always skip that song ^_^

Maiden currently rehearsing Stranger in a Strange Land at PowerTrip. Bruce sounds great (of course).

I am going, I’m really excited! Hoping they keep the current songs in the setlist as well maybe add a couple of the “hits” for the “play classics” crowd who are bound to complain.
