Regarding CSIT, it seems to me that Bruce’s timing was much much worse than Nicko’s drumming. Nicko sounds pretty darn good here considering. The tempo is pretty great (imo).
This a wild theory, but what if they start with Transylvania? The first minute and 30 will play over the PA, and then it kicks in with the riff/band at 1:35. Or it starts with Transylvania over the PA (like they did with the Legacy video) into the opening riff of Prowler. I also think BQoBD...

I don’t see why people think Alexander will be played on future tours. The current tour is it, I seriously doubt they would use 8+ minutes of setlist space on a Somewhere in Time deep cut over multiple tours.
Although it’s unfortunate that Nicko’s stroke has affected his drumming abilities this tour, it’s not entirely a bad thing that some songs have been altered slightly.

Maybe all this sand is representative of The Parchment, TTAL, or Powerslave.
