I actually really like them! First discovered them through Hopkins (Witchfinder General) music video and got hooked. The Ethereal Mirror is an awesome album. A small fun fact: vocalist Lee Dorian was earlier in the band Napalm Death. BTW, why do you find the video for Midnight Mountain...

That's why I said, they may not be the first but popularized the Tech Thrash sub-genre. There have been releases by big names before Annihilator like Coroner, Watchtower, Target, Mekong Delta and as you said Anacrusis among others. ...and yet you voted for BOTH of them! :p

As mentioned before, both super-duper albums but I'm definitely going for Beneath The Remains! I'm not sure if Annihilator was the first band to bring this level of technicality in Thrash metal but sure as hell they popularized it. Jeff Waters' guitar playing is next level and not to mention he...

I like Testament more than any band listed here. I even nominated The New Order and yet voted for Beneath The Remains during the last round. They are one of my favourite bands, for whom I just can't pick a single album and call it THE Testament album! The first three albums are just rock-solid...
