It has a lot of Eddie characteristics in the face. It feels a little too close to TBOS Eddie to me, like they’ve just edited it using that as the basis.

Your Metal Hammer arrived today too huh? This is one of the scariest and most gruesome Eddies they’ve done. I think there’s a bit of TBOS Eddie in him. Perhaps this will appear in a particular song and replace someone who makes a regular appearance.

I have the same problem too, perhaps if you just flipped your picture the difference might be enough?

They added Alexander Eddie recently too so they must be playing ATG by this logic. They also added Piece of Mind Eddie, will be great to hear that underrated gem for the first time live.

Personally, I don’t think FTGGOG is the dead cert people seem to think it is. They just lifted music from the game for the advert. I agree that it would be one of the more likely reunion era songs though.

The gap between St Anger and Death Magnetic shows that they could be doing one every four or five years. 2003 record released, 2004 continuation of tour throughout most of the year, 2005 two shows and apparently they didn’t start working on the next album so you may or may not want to count it...

Metallica take two years to make an album and at least two years to tour the previous album. That’s why it normally takes about 5 years, they just got sidetracked this time round.

Could have sworn I wrote 2012, thought you were just making a joke.

I doubt 2019 will see a change to the setlist, ME was the same in 2012 and 2013. 2018 will only feature one continent, much like the 2012 tour, so there’s no point in changing the set as 99.5% of people will not see them this year and next year.

This is exactly the sort of tour where they wouldn’t drop their biggest songs though, we’re not talking about an era focus or an album in full.
