    Short-answer questions

Back in 2022 I once considered subscribing to the Iron Maiden fan club, but didn't do it then because there were other money-related expenses, and the subscription could wait for a while then. Now that it is 2023, and the Future Past tour is slowly but surely approaching I do think it would be...

    The Future Past tour 2023

Damn, Amsterdam is really sold out. Often when venues or ticketmaster indicate this there are still some spots left in the upper rows or something but this is not the case. I'm really stoked right now and can't wait for July! Hopefully we will get good spots since my girlfriend is very small...

Nightwish Album name: Dark Passion Play Genre: Symphonic Metal Favorite song(s): Amaranth, The Poet and the Pendulum Nightwish is one of my favorite bands ever, and after seeing them at Pinkpop this year I am in love! Their live performance is just so incredibly impressive. I prefer Floor's...

Why are they unrealistic? Because the proposed bands are too big (according to you)? There are many artists who take the most successful bands as support. Amon Amarth is currently touring with Carcass, Orbituary and Cattle Decapitation. Slipknot took Behemoth as support in 2020. Metallica is...

Really hoped for a somewhat 'bigger' band to open for Maiden this time around. Helloween, Anthrax, Blind Guardian, perhaps even Disturbed. Never seen Raven Age live so I'm curious about them anyway. Saw Lord of the Lost this year and was pretty impressed!

How did I miss someone posting that song? Saw Nightwish live this year at Pinkpop and still get tears in my eyes whenever I put on either Noise, Élan or Storytime. Noise is such a great Nightwish song, and one the many songs that made me a Nightwish fan!

Not at all a fan of the whole 'we hate god, hail satan' thing from this band but damn this album is a masterpiece! Can't stop listening to it honestly! One of the only Black Metal (or Blackened Death Metal, whichever you prefer) bands I really enjoy. All other Black Metal is just noise to me.

How are Raven Age? Saw Lord of the Lost last year in Arnhem and they were pretty good but haven't listened to Raven Age yet. I like the fact I'm seeing a different band this time around. Although I would've hoped for a somewhat bigger band (Helloween, Blind Guardian dare I dream) but oh well.

Neither would I, but didn't Bruce say that Rime of the Ancient Mariner retired after the Somewhere Back in Time tour?

Thursday is finally the day I'm going to see Volbeat live in Antwerp! I am so looking forward to it! Servant of the Mind is a fantastic album and to finally hear songs like Shotgun Blues, Scared Stones and Temple of Ekur live is going to be amazing!

Honestly, Senjutsu (the song) would be a killer opening for the encore. Have the song Iron Maiden close the regular stage set, the boys wave goodbye, dim the lights and then play Senjutsu followed directly by Alexander the Great. I think that would be pretty neat!

Oh I had no idea actually. Never knew Maiden shows had a golden circle area... Glad the Ziggo dome in Amsterdam doesn't have it at least

I'm really glad Maiden never has a snake pit. There's something about the whole "snake pit" idea that divides the audience and I hate that. At a Maiden concert, the audience is one and the energy is just great throughout the entire audience. When I went to see Rammstein this year me and my...

Yes and at the expense of the fans because this schedule is pretty ridiculous. I get that they're getting older. I mean, we're on an Iron Maiden forum and we all know what it's like to see your favorite band get older. Personally, I just think it's ridiculous that you can only buy a ticket for...
