Blaze Bayley just posted some additional tour dates - late March to April 2019, then late August 2019, all in the UK. Hopefully he'll visit North/South America in between those.
I saw him at the Rockpile in Toronto last year. I went in with low expectations, but was blown away. A great mix of solo, Maiden and Wolfsbane material. The meet & greet after was a nice touch. (It was also one of the cheapest concerts I've been to in years).
I was supposed to take my wife out of town on November 3rd - will see if I can back out (or see if I can interest her in coming with - she loves Ottawa).
I've only seen one show at the Queen Elizabeth before. It was King Crimson, virtually everyone was sitting. I would imagine that for...
I'm going to the Toronto show on November 1st (I was able to get a 3rd row, centre seat at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre). I'm considering going to the gig in Waterloo the next day. Any out-of-towners feel free to ask questions about transit etc.
It took me about 3-4 hours to do this for Canada. Anyone's free to try the US, but it might take a full work week...
Sounds good, I'm in Toronto. Hopefully 2019 will be the year.
Thanks for sharing that. I've never seen Maiden in Quebec, but hopefully there will be a chance in 2019...
During a show in Toronto in 2012 (Maiden England tour), Dickinson said something to the effect of "we love playing in Quebec, but they need to make up their minds - you're in Canada or...

I wanted to put together a list of every concert Iron Maiden has played on Canadian soil, and a list of which songs were performed.
My sources for the concerts were Iron Maiden's website, Setlist.fm, and Wikipedia. Through the end of 2017, they played 117 concerts in Canada.
My sources for the...
WP, thanks for sharing these. I've seen your videos on YouTube but didn't realize you post here.
I'm learning how to play all of "Piece of Mind" on bass too. At this point I can play the first eight songs confidently. I still struggle with "To Tame A Land", which (for me) is probably the...
I saw Blaze Bayley perform at the Rockpile in Toronto last week (my first time seeing him live). I was front row, slightly off to the side. It was a fun experience. Blaze's voice sounded great and his three band mates played well. It was an intense, energetic set. He played five Maiden songs...
I know this probably won't happen, but I'd love to see a "Dark Ages" tour covering "No Prayer for the Dying" through "Virtual XI". Something like this:
Futureal
Man on the Edge
Still Life [1]
Be Quick or be Dead [2]
Sign of the Cross
The Trooper [3]
The Clansman
No Prayer for the Dying [4]
Holy...
I'm getting married in a bit over two weeks. When I enter the chapel, the organist is going to play a piano rendition "Blood Brothers".
During our reception I'm going to play a bass rendition of "Out of the Shadows" for my soon-to-be wife. (I can't think of another Maiden song that would be a...
I never knew that it was one of his favourite albums, but I can definitely see the influence.
I'd also like to hear the band cover "Heart of the Sunrise" by Yes - it has a good balance between fast, intense segments, and subtle, melodic passages. There are several very prominent bass riffs -...
I kept my original list to 3+ minutes but definitely feel free to post others. I'm pretty confident I got all the songs over three minutes (studio album tracks, anyway). Here are some other songs over 2:30 (but there might be some I missed):
"Mother Russia" - 1:35 to 4:29 - 2:54
"The...
