Iron Maiden to Fear of the Dark sounds amazing but that's 9 albums of material. Question is will Nicko really be able to perform for 7+ hours each night???
I have a ticket for Sofia and AFAIK there's no support announced for it yet hopefully that means they're up for a 21 song setlist that night. Cool that Gates of Hell is getting a spin.
I think they are just reluctant to spend money on that stuff when they're not sure how much touring the band is gonna do. The black Ice tour had over 160 concerts to make money on, this tour of 24 dates was announced just a few months before it began and I guess they're gonna announce the US and...
I would prefer an arena tour but am receptive to a one off outdoors or stadium iron maiden concert especially if the weather was nice and there was a couple of decent support acts, but please God no more Download festival.
We were joking about the idea that after decades of teasing Alexander the Great at Greek concerts, they instead get the Greek Cunt incident and watch the rest of Europe get the future past tour but appears it will probably actually happen.
But have they ever had this much time off before in which they knew in advance Bruce would be busy with another project for most of a year? I just don't see how anyone can rule out that Steve and a couple of others are getting together to write or track demos.
Is Steve is working on something...
Why? I know they don't normally write the albums without Bruce, but seeing as they would have known long in advance that Bruce would be on the promotional circuit and then touring it pretty much for the first 8 months of 2024 is it that unrealistic that Steve and 1 or 2 others would say right...
I also think it's likely that they decided to work on an album while Bruce is doing his solo tour. I was going to say probably just demoing and writing individually/one or two with a producer, but really there will have been almost 11 months between PowerTrip and the Australia leg of the tour so...
The press release on the Iron Maiden site seems to confirm that the Future Past tour isn't extending into 2025. With Bruce saying they have plans through 2026 that's potentially pretty exciting, could we be getting a new, different tour in Europe for 2025?
