Now, i've just heard of a very reliable rumour. won't tell much since i was asked to keep it secret.
Let's just say we will see stadiums once again (and not just festivals/arenas).
As I can recall now, the only times (in recent years) they did that was Maiden England and Legacy of the Beast (altough the latter probably had the 3rd leg confirmed from the beginning).
And again, the years in the title are just part of the reason why they won't be doing another leg in 2027...
Unless something beyond their control happens, plans don't change.
2026 will see the end of this tour. If that was supposed to happen, then they would've tour Europe again in 2027, not next year.
The name of the tour. 2025/26. There is no mention of 2027 anywhere.
Also, they won't tour Europe for 3 years straight with the same tour/setlist, and they can't just play Oceania and Asia alone. So, if they're really going there, they will next year. If not, then they might go there in 2027...
I guess that's one of the few places where they will keep playing, every now and then. They might still do arenas tour, but that would just be their choice, not dictated by demand or whatever (although I don't think it's a really plausible option)
The Future Past Tour sold out the UK leg in seconds.
Let's face the fact that Maiden are going to be a stadium act from now on, which makes a lot of sense under every aspect: more money, less shows that needs to be played, better stage designs (I think they'll upgrade for good next time), more...
They will play some arenas (same as this time, I can't see them opening a tour in a stadium) but I guess stadiums will remain. The Book of Souls tour moved a lot more tickets than the Maiden England Tour, for example. Actually, from a certain point of view album tours have an even higher chance...
They have more lights on the sides now, so you notice it less. But it still does not look good when it comes to big stadiums. They could just add fire machines and whatever on the sides (below the screens) to make things more immersive.
According to an Italian group, the festival in florence is out of discussions because it's owned by a different promoter (although they played it there in 2018)
Back on topic, apparently Ticketcorner has Maiden on their ticket alerts (according to some people, I can't find them there).
Interlaken? Might clash with other festivals.
Don't think they will attempt Letizground despite having selling out Hallestadion in minutes.
