    Maiden Japan (2021 Remaster)

It’s been up on Spotify for a good while now, at least in Scandinavia. Rhino stand as the record company, as with the Total eclipse (2022 remaster). On the Eddies archive discs, it says Rhino/Parlophone, the regular albums Parlophone. Maybe Rhino are up to something, or planning to release...

NIGHTWISH ALBUM RANKING GAME: #1 REVEALED

I really like Wishmaster, but I also ended up rating ut pretty low. This just shows how strong their discography is. The first three songs are legendary, same about Dead boy’s poem. FantasMic is a very underrated Nightwish song. Both Emppu and Tuomas play at their finest here, and Tarja sings...

    Bruce Dickinson

I’m glad Bruce is the professional in this case. He continue to focus on the tour and don’t reply to the bitter posts Roy publish.

I have just ordered a Rust in peace book, supposedly by Dave. What could I expect from that one? Hope it’s not an tab book!

NIGHTWISH ALBUM RANKING GAME: #1 REVEALED

Imaginareum have an awesome production, with the downtuned guitars and massive orchestras, lots of percussion. Anette do a fairly good job, and have more confidence here. I was lucky to see the band during her final European date, the only Nightwish concert I’ve seen. Great intro and first...

    General Music News

Michael Schenker coming up with a "tribute to UFO re-recordins" album in September, with plenty of guests. I wonder how studio Axl Rose anno 2023 sounds like.

Best version of each Maiden album?

Thanks to this thread, I ended up ordering all the 2015 remasters on CD, plus Live after death and Rock in Rio! I know I can listen to them on Spotify, but there's something special about physical copies. Looking forward to just enjoy them one by one during the summer:edmetal:

NIGHTWISH ALBUM RANKING GAME: #1 REVEALED

Being a Nightwish fan since 2000/2001, I can easily say that the last album is Tuomas and Troy show, while the rest are basically hired musicians.

    Bruce Dickinson

I wonder if Bruce would have reacted to a shirt with a "Where’s Roy Z?" print.

NIGHTWISH ALBUM RANKING GAME: #1 REVEALED

Angels fall first have tons of debut album charm. I love the silly lyrics, heavy English accents, Tuomas not so good vocals, the cheap production. The obvious The 3rd and the mortal and Stratovarius influences. The first five tracks are pretty good. But compared to most of their stuff, it does...

    NWOBHM

The genre we all love, but didn’t last very long… I think Iron maiden did very well, with their two first albums, so did Saxon, their albums from 79-81 are legendary. Diamond head - Lightning to the nations is amazing, so are the Motörhead albums from this period. Def leppard's first EP to.

    Maiden albums for different seasons

Well, I think I can listen to any Maiden album every time of the year. I don’t have strong season feelings for Maiden albums other than a few. Obviously some of the later ones were released in August and September, so I think of them a bit as autumn albums. But I became a big Maiden fans...
