I prefer no backing tracks in general, but I understand some bands need to use it, especially those that have lot of orchestrations.

As long as they are healthy, I think we will see them around for up to ten more years, with 1-2 albums as well. If Steve or Bruce get very ill, I think they are ending a little earlier. Every year they are active now, are a bonus anyway

Not until Maiden are done forever. But they have probably 4-5 albuns out when Maiden are finishwd, so they will have enough material to not play Maiden. I voted no. I wonder if fans are shouting Maiden titles every time British Lion are playing

Awesome. But did they record this show or something? There were quite a few video angles here. The photographer who shot them from behind could be a very nice live album/video cover

They probably did it this way, so they don’t get thousands of horrible audition "tapes", and Nicko probably had a plan to finish this tour the whole year. Well, I hardly know how Simon plays and how he will fit in, but he probably have already played with Maiden in the rehersal room sometime...

This was very bittersweet to hear as a big fan. I’m very sad he retires from touring. I was really looking forward to see him on stage next year, hoping he could do one final year, it would have been perfect. But there’s no doubt the stroke shocked him and probably hurt his abilites as well...

As usual, it will be cool to get a new Avantasia album, but I hope for a couple of surprises now. Like a few new singers, more theatrical but also some old-school power metal would be awesome

I voted Flight of icarus, slightly over Revelations. Both versions are better than the studio

Roy do tours, but he clearly enjoy songwriting and studio work the most

No big changes, but now I like No prayer for the dying about just as much as the other 80’s albums, so it is a part of their classic albums line I think. And as I said in a similar thread, I didn’t like Dance of death much, but over time I found out it’s much more varied and fun.

They probably break even. Otherwise the record label won’t give them a budget for a new album. Maybe Bruce earns a little more due to playing festivals. But it’s peanuts compared to touring with Maiden and doing conferences. I don’t think Adrian or Steve for that matter earns any money doing...

Judas priest wanted to call their concert video Rising in the east for Re-unleashed in the east, but luckily someone came to their senses o_O

I think we will see the remixed Balls and Skunkworks next year when Bruce will tour again. Why would he release then now when he is not touring his own music?

I would love that, but I think someone in the band said in some interview long time ago (maybe it was on Death on the road documentary) that due to the light show, pyros, changing backdrops and the other fun stuff, they can’t flip around the setlist and have to follow the set.
