What are the IM-related items that you've bought but never listen to/watch/use?

At first I wasnt really into collecting and I was happy just having the regular albums on cd but once a friend of mine offered me some vinyls and that was the start of an "addiction" that lasts for twelve years now. But it's more just for the fun of collecting (and looking for rare items) than...

Favorite line(s) from any IM song

A few more, from the 90's this time: - When I've sat by the window and gazed at the rain, with an ache in my heart but never feeling the pain - Trying to justify to ourselves the reasons to go, should we live and let live, forget or forgive - In a room full of strangers do you stand with your...

Favorite line(s) from any IM song

Just curious to see what will show up here! (and please no "dinosaurs..." line :innocent:) Here are some of mine (from the 80's albums for the moment...more to come later on): - A look at love, a dream unfolds, living here, you'll never grow old - Mother natures' black revenge on those who...

    Iron Maiden vs. Killers?

Hi Foro, just my opinion here! As for Genghis Khan, I must say it's quite good, specially the part with the pre-HBTN riff but it is between two songs that imo are among their weakest, so I tend to forget it, not that I don't care;). This interview with John Stix you quote brings me back some...

    Iron Maiden vs. Killers?

Based on the quality of songs only, the debut album all the way. Killers is one of their weakest releases, despite the great production and the arrival of H, with too much filler and among the worst songs they've done. Drifter is just atrocious, Another Life, Innocent Exile are very basic...

    Maiden Albums: Head to Head

7-4 for The Book of Souls, a few tough choices here. Montségur vs The Red and the Black, TRATB's long instrumental part is awesome but i'm not much of a fan of Bruce's lines. On the other hand the "happy" section of Montségur doesn't bother me as it used and the rest of the song is great so...

Legacy of the Beast Tour 2018 - CONTAINS SPOILERS

It's been almost 25 years, since FOTD really, that they stopped doing a whole album with short songs and just one or two 7+ minute song so no I'm not really expecting them to go back to this formula. And actually I wish they don't because last time they tried to do so, with NPFTD, can't say the...

    Strange World

I really love this one, it's one of a kind in the entire Maiden discography, the atmosphere is very dreamy and peaceful, the solos are very melodic and I love the way Paul sings here. One of the highlights of this album imo: 8/10

    Iron Maiden

A fun riff but it turns boring quite fast and...that's it, the drumming is dull, repetitive parts, no solos or real instrumental sections, not a lot is going on here. Live, it's a cool song because we all know what goes with it so every time I'll find myself screaming the words out loud but the...

    Remember Tomorrow

One of my faves from the debut album along with POTO and Strange World, the calm part is really nice, the instrumental is great. Well the solos could have been better but still very good. Based on this album only, I'd give it a 8 but overall, I think a 7 is fair. I would really love they play...
