Yep, off topic :) FWIW I too am a fan of Reagan - as an economist who has lived for years in the former Soviet Union, I can tell you what works and what doesn't. But again, this is off topic.
And of course myth always beats reality - like someone famously said, Reality is for those who can't...
Re: Black Sabbath Survivor: Top ten #8
Neon Knights in one of my favorite BS songs of all time. Hope it doesn't get eliminated.
Votes for Iron Man, SBS, Children of the Grave
Since I'm revising some old posts, I'd like to say I think AMOLAD has a perfect 8 song run, from Different World through FTGGOG. Lord of Light starts to lose me and then the Legacy... well, less said about it the better. But I think it's the strongest stretch on any Maiden album. Would I change...
Definitely updating this. Too many songs have won me over while others have slipped...
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
Killers - Drifter
The Number of the Beast - Gangland
Piece of Mind - QFF
Powerslave - Back in the Village
Somewhere in Time - Deja Vu
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - Moonchild
No...
I agree with Where Eagles Dare (amazing range), Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Tallisman (unbelievable that he can still sing like that) and Hallowed (although I don't think it's his best vocal performance - it just fits a wonderful song wonderfully). I would also nominate Passchendale, which...

Kiwi, you are NUTTERS! But toast for listening to Hauraki, and kudos for you having the balls to do that :) :edmetal:
Gotta say I agree with this :) But I voted for Talisman, which I think is better overall than DoD. If DoD had slightly better lyrics, it would be the winner.
Fun live, instantly accessible on the album but not their best song. On the other hand, it gets points for instant accessibility, which I felt was lacking on SIT. 8.
Underrated. Was my favorite track off SIT first time I heard it. Trademark Maiden driving riffs. Liked the opening, which to me was a bit more thrash/power than usual Maiden (and I was really into it at the time). So a solid 9. For short songs.
We should break up the voting into short songs...
I'm a 9 as well - this and Wasted Years are the best songs off SIT IMHO. Good rocker. Sets the tone of the album, which is quite distinct in the Maiden annals.
Weekend chains of judas, my fugitive apparition. Fear of wasting childhood's end is the key... afraid, be quick from here to eternity.
A tribute to my least favorite album :)
Catchy tune. I gave it a 9, although it's worse than other songs I've rated 8 before. Basically, a nostalgia rating - plus one of the only Maiden songs I consistently hear on the radio, and what can I say... I loved the video when I was a kid. So it gets a higher rating than it should have...
