Sweden says NO to no classics! Ullevi still not even close to sold out

:ok: Excellent, even though he seemed to be moderating towards the end, giving some praise to songs on the tour that WEREN'T classics. But thank you, administrative ninja, for preserving the integrity of the site!

Songs you want Maiden to cover.

Since I've been stuck on it lately, I think an AWESOME cover would be Sabbath's "Mob Rules." Sounds like a range that Bruce would be comfortable in, the three-axe-attack of the current lineup would make it a wall of sound, and it's a kick ass song anyway. I'd pay to hear it.

Maiden songs you are currently stuck on

This song is VASTLY underrated, IMO.  :edmetal:

    What makes someone a fan?

The bass player rule is pretty good. I would add to that if you buy a band/singer's new album without knowing anything about it, simply because it's new and by that particular artist  (although, depending on your degree of fandom, you could have known about the new album for months and obsessed...

Which Iron Maiden album would you like to see performed live in its entirety?

Bold, but interesting. As I've posted elsewhere, I'd love to see Run Silent Run Deep and Public Enema Number One live. I even think Holy Smoke and Tailgunner would be great live. I'd go see this, and then get beer during the title track, Fates Warning, and Mother Russia.

    Your Maiden blasphemy

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Some of my fav songs, including Dream of Mirrors and Thin Line, but some real stinkers on there. IMHO.

    Misheard lyrics

Yep, that was one of my many mishears with that particular track. I'd say it's the most misheard Iron Maiden song. That and ROTAM.

    Name for my band?

Free Beer - think of how many people you'd get coming to the shows if the marquee outside said "Tonight - Free Beer."

For the Greater Good of God

Re: Daily Song: For the Greater Good of God Agree here. Has the same kind of driving guitar pyrotechnics as Dance of Death that makes me find it irresistible. But the repetition wears after a while. Almost sounds like a BNW track.

What first Maiden album would you recommend to a up and coming maiden fan?

I agree with this, even though it's not their best album IMHO. I really agree with the bridge comment, too. I think NOTB has the right mix of short and long, aggressive and complex, to hook a new fan. The only worry I'd have is the title track, which I find cheesy. I might say then either Piece...

    Your Maiden blasphemy

:ok: :ok: :ok: Come join me in my shelter, where we play Dance of Death 24 times a day and praise "Gates of Tomorrow" and "Wildest Dreams."
