With all the negative and hateful things he's said about women and minorities I'm not sure how anyone is surprised. He died for his shitty beliefs and now he'll be treated as martyr. But no one likes political violence. This is a bad path we've taken as a nation.

Ghost is absolutely metal. They use all the same chord progressions, lyrical themes, chugging guitar riffs, etc as other metal bands. Judas Priest has radio friendly hit songs. By your logic Priest isn't metal. This whole "I don't like this band so that means they aren't metal" argument is...

Exactly what I thought when I first heard this song. Has a lot of the hallmarks of a post reunion Maiden song. I don't understand the Ghost hate. That guy can really craft a tune.

A Tyranny of Balls?

I gotta say, I'm hoping for amphitheaters for the US next year. The one in Charlotte NC is excellent. I absolutely love the lawn seating there. They played the Spectrum there last year which is indoors and the seats were miserably small.

The Future Past tour focused on brand new songs and deep cuts. Some that haven't been played since before I was born and others that haven't been played at all. "Iron Maiden is just a cabaret act". Fucking yawn

This tour is for sure the best they've sounded so far in the 2020's. Id argue Bruce sounded much worse on The Time Machine last year than he does on Aces this year. No one cried about that for 200 pages. I believe people want to dislike this tour.

It's about the same tempo as the album version

Perhaps in the way that BNW is Maiden back in top form for the first time since Seventh Son.

Tracks 5-10 of Final Frontier are perfect. Great album.

It does affect the energy of the song for sure. It's so high (of the aces variety) and impossible to sing it really could be sung an entire octave lower. I'd take lower energy over straining.
