Judas Priest Discography Discussion (part 2 starting page 20)

Screaming is definitely one of the best Priest albums in my opinion, solid from start to finish and not suffering from all the filler that was on the last two albums. I love Devil's Child, it definitely does have that AC/DC style riffage though, and is a bit different from Priest. Think the Dio...

Top 3 Songs On ‘The X Factor’ Other Than “Man On The Edge”

Man on the Edge wouldn't have made my top 3 either, but I do like the track, remember playing it over and over when it was released. For my top three I've voted, 1. The Aftermath 2. Look for the Truth 3. Fortunes of War

Here we go again...Iron Maiden sued over the rights of 6 songs

I don't get his point here about Steve Harris having something to hide by saying that if the song is credited to him then he wrote it. To me it sounds like he was asked a question about songwriting, and answered with the fact that if it is credited to him, then he wrote it. Seems quite straight...

Judas Priest Discography Discussion (part 2 starting page 20)

Heading Out To The Highway, is a fantastic Priest song and I’d include it in a list of their greatest tunes. Desert Plains I love, it is one of those songs I’d class as, “a brilliant deep cut.” Other than that I have little time for that album, other than watching the promo video for Hot Rockin...

Legacy of the Beast Tour 2018 - CONTAINS SPOILERS

Thoroughly enjoyed the gig in Aberdeen at the weekend, thought the sound was much better than at the Hydro in Glasgow last year. Highlights for me were Revelations and For the Greater Good of God. Slightly regretting not getting a ticket for London now, oh well, maybe I’ll do more dates on the...

Judas Priest Discography Discussion (part 2 starting page 20)

I feel British Steel is lauded more due to containing the bands big hits and really being their mainstream breakthrough album. The first four songs are all classics, though I don’t really need to ever hear Breakin’ The Law again I do realise that it is a great song. After that though the album...

Yeah looking forward to the Nadal Djokovic semi, does really feel like the final now. Not a big Federer fan, but would have been good to see him in the final against either Nadal or Djokovic.

If Bruce sang a sixth blaze song live?

When Two Worlds Collide is one of my favourite tunes from the two Blaze albums, so I’d love them to play that on tour, and would be great to subsequently get it as a live b-side on a future Maiden single ... alas I doubt either of those things will ever occur ...

Top 5 favorite heavy metal/rock bands

Pretty hard to narrow it down to five, but the following are probably the bands I’ve listened the most and had the biggest influence on me in the past 20 years are, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Status Quo, Thunder & Rush

History of Iron Maiden Part 4...

Though the part 3 documentary wasn’t put together quite as well as the previous two, I’ve enjoyed the series and wouldn’t like to see it end there. Definitely want more and obviously it is coming to quite an interesting time in the bands history with first Adrian leaving and then Bruce. As for...

    Best self-titled albums..

For me it is the Maiden one, though I don’t have it down as one of my favourite albums by them. But I don’t like Zeppelin at all or Sabbath until Dio joined, and for me there are two great songs on Van Halen, Running With the Devil, & Ain’t Talkin Bout Love, the rest is complete filler.
