Obviously, and i think we all demand it, it's only fair ;) What i mean to say is that over the years Derek has said some (i think unfair) nasty things about Maiden. And i was referring to the fact that Maiden did really need everything done fast around them at that time because they themselves...

For some reason i always thought Derek is really a moaner... I mean, Maiden worked at a VERY fast pace in the 80's, so it's only natural that they NEEDED things done at a very fast pace as well, you know what i mean? It's not exactly like they pushed poor Derek just because...

So i was having an argument with a friend about Motorhead (RIP Lemmy) and other bands that sound really energetic, and his point was that Iron Maiden never sounds really energetic on record because they're "way too good musicians to really be able to just lose themselves in the music". I think...

It can, @SinisterMinisterX . To me it means exactly both, but one is always a result from the other.

It's really tricky to say that... To me, the fact that Maiden are "hard to work with" means that they actually just have a very strong artistic vision, and that is certainly something i admire, regardless of the end result since that in itself is subjective...

I think the band liked the artwork although it was an unfinished version mainly because it was unsettling, or something along those lines. And i get it, it was a deliberate choice from the band, and since the artist did not approve the version the band chose, he withdraw his name from it. With...

Yeah, i'd say it's pretty much the same everywhere... Here in Portugal it's the same thing: Vinyls are being reissued left and right while cd's seem to slowly fade away. In my local record store for example TBOS vinyl edition sold the triple of the amount the cd versions did.
