The AMOLAD tour had an overall amazing vibe, so dark and serious. I like this very very much as well! The lights in particular really brought the war theme from the album cover into the stage, i think.

That's actually a pretty good point. Plus, a live album would basically be AMOLAD + a few classics at the end... Not that appealing to most fans.

Not saying at all that i don't like the original one, but i think i actually prefer the Maiden England 2013-14 version, mainly because the colours and lightning gave a colder atmosphere to the stage. I'm kind of interested in seeing if anyone else prefers any "history" tour

So one of the main things, i think, anyone can say about Maiden is that they are one truly monstruous band live and also that they put on a great visual show. Their live playing is not all about the indeed great playing they have as a band, but also the designs, the visual concept of the tour...

I'll have to disagree on that one, @SirRobbins . Although i agree with you on Steve's bass lines making many albums overall even better, one of the things that have always remained consistent in Maiden is the bass. Steve pretty much always finds a way to create a melody apart from the 3 guitars...

I think one of the main reasons why i love Mother Russia is because, to me, it evokes a lot of images. Whenever i hear the song i think of the old Soviet Union at the height of it's repression in Stalin's era. The vocal melodies, the keyboards, everything on that song is a big reference to...

@SirRobbins also, this tour to me was pretty special also because of historical stuff, like the inflatable Eddie and stuff... Pretty unique for Maiden
