I'd wager it was more-so to get a reference and litmus test for where Bruce's vocals and overall technique was at ahead of producing a renunion album.
As well as likely a chance for him, Steve, and Kevin to sit down and regear AoB/TCW Bruce back into Maiden Bruce.
Theres a good bit of humor...
Yeah
If we had more than say a couple years left in the band Id see em making it a staple
But realistically we are at the end of Maiden, and Id rather them continue to highlight unplayed or rarely played tunes of the classic & 2000s era
Perhaps I have, perhaps I haven't. Such is the mystery of deja vu!
Time is but a human construct... and sometimes we may get caught somewhere in it :edmetal:
I Got into them around the release of Infest, enjoyed Meliora. Lost interest after the whole band member debacle (Not a fan of court drama with bands)
Saw them supporting Maiden, thought they sounded flat and Tobias croaked his way through a lot of it.
Got a free ticket to see em again later...
Saw it and immediately said "fuck there goes my good tickets, they dropped Charlotte for Atlanta"
Then checked the official page and figured it was a mistake
I snagged what (little) was allocated in 114 (A lot of it was VIP packages and just not open for the fanclub presale)
From what Ive seen, should be great seats. Personally I woulda went 113 but Im taking 2 Maiden newbies and want them to have a perfect view of the whole stage as opposed to just...
Probably, Killswitch isnt my favorite but Im sure its better than Raven Age.
Maybe we'll get an opening set of various live versions of Wrathchild played over the PA!
