    I've listened to it a bit more often in the meantime, but there was a point where I had not listened to it for about 5 years. I was surprised how well I still remembered all the lyrics. Still a great album imho. Together with Lateralus it's my favourite of 2001.

    I just did quick search and found this article with an e-mail from Ted Jensen, who mastered Death Magnetic: https://mastering-media.blogspot.com/2008/09/metallica-death-magnetic-clipping.html The article assumes it's genuine, but I agree that it is questionable.
