It is -13C here (Iowa) today-- it was slightly colder yesterday. I think it was closer to -23. Nothing like what Loosey has to contend with.

The other day I was playing music for my grand-daughter. (she is 8 months old) I said, "I'm now going to play for you music by the best non-Maiden band in the world." My daughter was a room over and yelled, "Are you going to play her Queen?? She needs to know Freddie!" ...I was going to play...

You have not experienced Christmas Music until you've heard Lemmy singing Run Run Rudolph. Typically that and "An Eric Foreman Christmas" from 70's Show really puts me in the Christmas mood.

Also, happy Friday. My youngest turns 18 this weekend, phew, I'm worn out. Lastly, I seem to have failed as my oldest daughter (21) has not seen enough bands. I have to fix that before Sept when her husband and daughter move to Alaska.

Phew. There were like 30 pages of Madness. I skimmed a lot. Recently got back from a long drive from Iowa thru Indianapolis thru Louisville KY thru Ashville NC to Greenville SC to watch my son run a 50K ultramarathon at Paris Mountain park. Then home through Georgia, Nashville TN, ST Louis...

Yep! Funny, I was moving stuff out of my house and found my son's old iPod (circa 2007 maybe?) and it still worked! So I put my greatest hits on it and brought my mid-80's stereo into my office and voila! I have some good tunes!

Today is a good day. I left my ipod plugged in at work and when I turned the stereo on, Run To The Hills was playing.

Sorry, I've been afk for a while. I have been living in a friends basement while house closes. Where I work, we had about 95% coverage. I may have a pic or two to share once I get a computer at 'home' set up.

In the span of the last 10 days, I went on vacation to some semi-remote touristy peninsula in Wisconsin. Played in the water, drank some local fare, ate too much, rode my bicycle, hung out with youngest Daughter of Wasted, and had a great time. Came home to much work at work and an accepted...
