It's (HOE) just pure Steve Harris Maiden. It has everything. It's an encapsulation of everything that's good about Maiden in one song. One on my favourite post-2000 Maiden songs is WTWWB so that's probably why I like it.

It was like that for me as well. After a couple more listens it is growing on me.

This is going to be one of those albums that's going to take numerous listens before forming an opinion on it for me. The only thing I will say at the minute is that it's like an X Factor/AMOLAD hybrid and I like both those albums which is a good sign.

I am now not listening to any Maiden at all until release day. Have been binging recently and want a fresh set of ears for Friday.
