Sabaton ticket London 12th Jan available for charity donation

I have a ticket for Sabaton at the Kentish Town Forum on Monday 12th Jan, but I can't make the gig. I'm happy to email it to anyone who wants it. I'd appreciate a contribution equal to the face value of the ticket (£21) to go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Message me with an email...

CD reissues - time for some 'Deluxe editions'?

A CD that knows when Back In The Village has finished and Powerslave has started is all I need to make me happy.

Studio Album #16 - Rumours and Speculation (New Info 27.02.15)

Seeing as we are all, Davey included, figments of His H's benevolent imagination, the concept of competition is irrelevant.

Don't you think the drums on VXI would have been a whole lot better if His Adrianess had played them?!

Always forward... NEVER backward.... No Prayer and Fear are the only two Maiden albums I can barely listen to.

    Your First Iron Maiden Album/Experience?

1987, I was 13, and I only knew the name Iron Maiden as something sinister and a bit frightening. A schoolmate lent me the double-cassette of Live After Death. I remember the first time I played it (on my Walkman), all I could make out was the roar of a crowd and a lot of noise, and I thought "I...

How Many Times Have You Seen Maiden Live?

Multiple dates in the north... OR one night only (in a big field). You won't get to see them more than once in the UK if they only play once in the UK, even if it's an open-air gig in front of 3 million across the Yorkshire Moors. Or one of those other big open spaces in the north that we don't...

How Many Times Have You Seen Maiden Live?

What are the chances of a UK tour with multiple dates? Particularly in the north near Brigs? Or will they do one night only in a big field?

    Official Star Wars Thread

I'm an old cynic who thinks the Star Wars movies are decent kids' films but shouldn't be taken too seriously by grown-ups. BUT... I've just read this, about a possible plot leak, and now I'm seriously excited...

Nice way for specialist radio shows to go after broadcast, being bought up and put on a website for ever more.

    Post your own lyrics

@Stardust, you may not have rhyming couplets, but there are plenty of rhymes and repetition of syllables and words throughout the song. I think they work really well, and make the song less predictable than if you'd just had rhyming couplet after rhyming couplet. In my head, it sounded like a...

My wife went to school with one of Roger Daltrey's kids. Not very interesting, but there you go. I like your idea of legitimate line-ups, @Yax. I agree about The Who. I was watching Queen + Adam Lambert on TV a few nights ago and thinking how good for John Deacon that he was out of it. Does...

I think I may have been unfairly influenced by my experience of no dentist = no teeth pain vs. seeing the dentist = inability to eat without pain. But @LooseCannon, whilst the mouth may be complex, is it really as complex as the whole of the rest of the body put together?
