    Bruce Dickinson

I wonder if Bruce would have reacted to a shirt with a "Where’s Roy Z?" print.

NIGHTWISH ALBUM RANKING GAME: #1 REVEALED

Angels fall first have tons of debut album charm. I love the silly lyrics, heavy English accents, Tuomas not so good vocals, the cheap production. The obvious The 3rd and the mortal and Stratovarius influences. The first five tracks are pretty good. But compared to most of their stuff, it does...

    Bruce Dickinson

Damn, didn’t know Bruce played a show in Oslo this summer! Just though he did festival gigs.

    NWOBHM

The genre we all love, but didn’t last very long… I think Iron maiden did very well, with their two first albums, so did Saxon, their albums from 79-81 are legendary. Diamond head - Lightning to the nations is amazing, so are the Motörhead albums from this period. Def leppard's first EP to.

    Maiden albums for different seasons

Well, I think I can listen to any Maiden album every time of the year. I don’t have strong season feelings for Maiden albums other than a few. Obviously some of the later ones were released in August and September, so I think of them a bit as autumn albums. But I became a big Maiden fans...

Best version of each Maiden album?

I can also relate to this. Buying albums and listening for the first time with my physical copy is like making an entry in my diary. It makes alot more impact than giving an random album a listen on Spotify. Virtual XI makes me go to late summer 2003, after hearing almost all other Maiden...

Favourite Power Trios in Metal/Hard Rock

Think I made a similar thread a while ago? Anyway, I think I ended up with Rush, Primus and King’s X. Sodom, Motörhead, Cream, Wolfmother, Jimi Hendrix experience are also good

    Short-answer questions

Well, this is a question about the 2015 cd remasters. Do they have anything extra in the booklets? Slighty different than the 1998 remasters? Did Maiden also re release Live after death and Rock in Rio, or was it just on vinyl?

Songs you like by bands/artists you don't like

I like a few songs from Ghost from Prequelle, but otherwise don’t like them. Same with Volbeat. I think Puddle of mudd is not good, but the song Blurry is really nice. Sting as well, not a fan at all, but Fields of gold is good. Coldplay is meh, but Sky full of stars is okay

    Bruce Dickinson

It would be a good opportunity to release them with the upcoming remixed album, if they go up to remix The chemical wedding for bonus tracks or the 99 live album (not that The chemical wedding needs a remix according to most fans!)

    Bruce Dickinson

Finally a good explanation why Roy ain’t on tour, maybe folks can finally stop wondering about their working relationship. Sure it’s bittersweet for Roy to not be able to tour, but at least he is occupied with songwriting and remixing. And I think Nightmares will come. Maybe it just didn’t fit...

If you could wish one thing back from Maiden that has gone & is no more

That Clive Burr never got MS and possibly would still be alive.

Which of the reunion albums had the most interesting tour connected to it?

The Dance of death tour, with the mask, WWI outfit, the acoustic song, sound effects and great setlist wins it for me. I kind of like all the recent album tours, cause they all had some surprising moments and songs!

Cool interview, thanks. I was surprised they made a new multi album deal. They still need to do the acoustic album and the orchestral concert begore they end
