RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Alexander the Great was played, after all. So it's not out of the question to speculate. Still, it's a long shot, but Only the Good Die Young would propably work out. Bruce can still sing it.

I agree! Also Yngwie's only gold certified album in his home country, Sweden - 50 000 sales.

    Should Maiden sell the catalog?

Just for a period of time. They didn't lose control over the rights, as they payed everything.

Old recording by me with Line 6 Pod farm. The Dave Murray inspired solo from 0:57 - 1:08 sounds really nice!

Yes, that was most likely the reason: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/275760.stm "Tuesday, February 9, 1999 Published at 11:39 GMT" I also remember reading somewhere that they payed everything during the duration of the bond, and that the band now receives yearly royalties again on the old...

    The Blaze Bayley touring history

I agree. Steve Wray and John Slater certainly wrote some good melodies and riffs for Blaze. Blaze and Steve Wray, Bang Your Head Festival, Germany, 2004.

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

It's just a small group of the audience that have such devotion as you describe, and it's the same for any arena rock band. My point is that they could get away with doing 4 Virtual XI songs, as long as the rest of the set are mainly of classics. The name of the tour and the marketing matters...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

I went to see Maiden dressed in a Blaze t-shirt in 2022, with no reactions at all. If it had been in 1999, some people had booed me, or perhaps even wanted to fight with me. It's so long ago now, that most people going to a show are not aware of that they had another singer. They are just...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

They wouldn't get booed of the stage, as most of the audience would probably just believe they are performing songs from the latest release, or from an upcoming album. 90 % of the audience haven't heard a single track from Virtual XI.
