Please don't think I have a Rosey view of private health care. The surgeon who operated on me only worked privately on Fridays, the rest of the week on NHS. Saying I had a routine procedure is nonsense though . It is not routine for me to come out of a theatre in a wheel chair and be in "rehab"...

Also, hiring an operating theatre for a specialist medical procedure IS an operation (in my book) . It took 30 minutes with X-ray machines etc to have my spine injected.

It's still sad that when you need care that you have paid for (and is available privately .... so it IS available) the NHS did not deliver.

Whilst I would never choose private health care over NHS, my personal experience of NHS care is that it was dreadful to the point of non existent. If I did not have the funds to go private when I needed treatment (with zero health insurance btw) I would probably have lost my job by now. Having...

The fan made WED artwork has been on my PC since June 2013, so it is at least that old. Not inspired by TLOTB :) I have quite a few different fan made / song inspired pics. There are some good and some not so good ones all over the net.

It's a sad state of affairs. As Lee mentions in the video I posted, he is not after the money. But since he tried to sue the heartless money grabbing Osbournes (and lost on a technicality incidentally, as he mentions, due to time frames involved) I don't hold out much hope for the platinum discs...

It's quite Ironic really that the people who accuse others of not accepting someone else's viewpoint feel the need to go on and on and on in tedious posts repeating the same thing over and over (but using different words) just because someone else does not agree. This is not specifically aimed...

A nice interview with Lee Kerslake (drummer for Ozzy on the first 2 albums / Uriah Heep etc). Sadly, Lee has been given less than a year to live due to cancer. Apparently Nicko has donated to the documentary being filmed about Lee's life in the music industry.

I saw them on the Innocence tour and also the Destiny tour in the 80s, but I really need to see them again. One of my favourite bands ;)
