Short songs are usually catchy and fast (which is good), but they also tend to follow the verse-chorus structure (which is boring). The long songs are more atmospheric, with build-ups and breakdowns; much more like an experience or a journey. Alas, many long songs on the three last albums have...

This is might be out of topic, but am I only one feeling how bands always use like five years to complete an album? Even younger newer bands.

Chemical Wedding is a heavy metal classic in my opinion. I have listened to it alot lately, and I didn't know what I was missing before I just took the time to check it out.

I agree 100% I always imagine Bruce going really high during the part where the vocals go ''Blood on the woo-oorld's haaaands''. Maybe it'll turn out stupid if they tried, but in my mind it's perfect.

I suspect this might be the last album, and therefore the last tour promoting a new studio album. But they'll do history tours and such :)

What lyrics are you talking about? I can agree that some lyrics are written in a ''searching for answers'' kind of way, but not from a ''christian worldview'' all together. If I were to judge Steve's religiousity (if that's a word) then I would call him an agnostic; curious about religion, yet...
