Exactly... how is the crowd reaction in FTGGOG any different from the reaction in The Red and The Black? Or even in SOTC? I think the low reaction becomes more evident in FTGGOG only because Bruce asks for crowd participation. FTGGOG is also the centerpiece of the religion theme so I don't think...
As someone said, I also think Bruce's choice of pants might be a "part of the Legacy" thing. At least it's better than those he wore in the 80's. In fact all their clothes, not just Bruce's, are far better than those they wore in the 80s.
And it looks like he also brought back the rigs...
I also totally agree... and I especially like the FOTD costume. The Victorian style is great and it really revives the song. Even Bruce sings it with more enthusiasm... The SOTC costume is also awesome.
I don't think they will take out the songs... they are mid tour! And also I can't see them taking out "Iron Maiden" now or in the future. It's like a tradition for the big eddie to appear in this song. I can't imagine another song that would fit that.
This was posted yesterday...
"Early pub years Iron Maiden before they found the real-deal singer Paul Di'Anno and landed their first album deal. The rest is rock history. The source of this recording is unknown and no royalties are being collected. This audio is for educational purposes only."
I think the Willcock case has some chance, especially if he proves that he in fact had the copyright to those songs as he claims in the lawsuit. But his argument that he wasn't aware of the recordings prior to 2014 is really hard to believe. I mean, how is he going to prove that he didn't know...
Damn, Bruce just owns this song. Sorry, Blaze.
And I say the same about SOTC. I've compared the current performances with some performances from the X Factor and Virtual XI tours and it's not even about who sings better, it's just that Bruce makes both songs sound so more powerful. I always had...
I also never understood those claims. In my mind it's almost a blasphemy to say he was bad during most of the '80s. In my opinion it's just that nowadays he sings more professionally and with more technique, which he acquired over they years, especially during his solo career. But that doesn't...
I don't think that this Edward The Great artwork means that they planned to play ATG. Also that Nicko interview where he says that they rehearsed the song "way back" also doesn't suggest that they considered playing it.
I've already accepted that they will never play ATG, so I avoid this...
I've been following this thread in the last few days and after reading comments about taking FTGGOG and The Clansman out of the setlist I had to post something. I've watched most of the videos from the tour so far and that's definitely one of those tours that you can't miss at all. I just hope...
Very strong rumours indeed. Did you see Flesch's postings suggesting Maiden will come again this year? That guy is never wrong. And as you said they won't come just for RIR, they'll add at least two more dates. If so, I'll make an effort to go to Sao Paulo. I don't like the idea of going to RIR.
I saw Rogue One yesterday. It sure is better than The Force Awakens. I loved the spaceships battle scenes and the references to the old Star Wars movies!
It's really nice to read this, Perun. You pretty much described what I felt in March this year. The part about the feeling of excitement, joy and confusion I understand completely...
