I LOVE Rock in Rio, but the band put some really stupid vocal overdubs in there that are blatantly obvious. I don't know why they couldn't just leave the crowd singalong parts alone. There was 150,000 people singing after all.

It's one of my favourite Maiden records in terms of production. Everything has a good tone and place in the mix in my opinion.

I feel like I am in the minority in saying The Prophecy is a great song. I would give it a 10/10. I love the groove, the riffs and the acoustic outro.

Brave New World was played on the Dance of Death tour. I don't think they would play The Final Frontier if only for the fact that El Dorado was the single and what most people consider the better song. But who knows. After all these history tours, it's anybody's guess what they play :)

I think there are a few factors at play that make this a very special album. Every track on here feels connected thematically and musically and the whole album flows well. One might argue that this means there is less diversity, but I think we get a nice variety of songs. So it is very fitting...
