This is the one I saw

Combining that setlist with a bad seat, no video screens to actually see what was happening on stage, and a venue I despise, it was a challenging night. But my wife was happy and that...
I actually got a taste of what it must be like for a casual fan to go to the more recent Maiden shows.
Took my wife to see Bon Jovi a few weeks back.
Honestly, I haven't really listened to his material since the 80's. I've heard a few of the newer 'hits' on the radio a few times since then, but...
Completely disagree.
Ride has a block of 3 killer tunes, a good closing song, and the rest is meh.
Puppets is killer because all the songs fit together well. It is a complete album. For me, other than the opener, and the closer, the rest is perfect. And those 2 aren't bad, just weak in...
I can pretty much agree with that.
Though I might add a 4th, the black album.
That's the one that put them over the top as far as mainstream acceptance. Even though it isn't as strong as the previous 3 where they were more hardcore. It is still a solid piece of work that stands on it's own.

POM is way above PS in my ranking.
Of the first 7 POM comes in second to SIT.
PS is fifth behind 3-NOTB and 4-SSOASS
Yes. Powerslave has great songs on it. Yes, it was amazing when it first came out.
But for me the glow soon wore off on that album. Everything sounds too much the same. It...
- Iron Maiden: Remember Tomorrow
- Killers: Murders In The Rue Morgue
- The Number of the Beast: Run To The Hills (Children of the Damned would be second)
- Piece of Mind: Still Life (Flight of Icarus would be my second choice)
- Powerslave: Powerslave
- Somewhere in time: Wasted Years (Hands...
Trust me, the prices aren't bad.
I paid more for nosebleed seats for Bon Jovi in Cleveland(wife's xmas present) than I did for pit in Toronto for Maiden.
Sure, I can find cheaper festivals most of the time. But that is because newer bands don't draw like the older ones do.
I can usually go see...
That looks no fun.
This is why I am bummed Maiden isn't coming to Cleveland on this tour.
Here is the shed I love
Blossom Music Center
Nice big covered seating area. Sure, it can get warm in there in the summer, but there is still plenty of ventilation.
Inside is beautiful
And the sound is...
FOTD
Clansman
Bring Your Daughter.
That would about do it for me and the 90's.
What I would love to see is a reunion era setlist.
Most of these songs have only been done on the tour for that album.
For those of us in the states, we only got one FF track and they only played 4 cities for the DOD...
That is one of the reasons I am on the fence about this.
I am no hurry to get out on the floor (have pit for Toronto). I'm not going to stand up front for the opener, and the break in between. Getting too old for that kind of stuff.
I'll wait until Maiden are almost set to play then work my way...
Interesting read.
Still thinking about doing the VIP for Toronto.
Will have to wait and see what funds I have after sorting out a passport and hotel first though.
Will have to tell my daughter about the sound issues.
She was debating between Chicago and Nashville also (she's in Columbus)
Think she was leaning towards Nashville as it works out better for her work schedule.
She has friends in Chicago, but none of them wanted to go to the show.
I got pit...
Looks like I am going to have to look into getting a passport.
The only show that possibly works for me is Toronto.
It is also the shortest distance from me.
Last time was 2010.
They used to hit Cleveland on every tour until DoD happened. And it has been sporadic ever since.
Only coming in 2008 and 2010.
I had to go to New York city in 04
Toronto in 05
couldn't travel in 06 so I had to miss that tour :(
Had to go to Buffalo in 12
and couldn't travel...
