Re: Forostar's Top 50 Iron Maiden songs I'm not a big fan of Virus personally. Didn't really strike me as a standout the first time I heard it. It's placing here HAS inspired me to go back and give it another listen however, and I'm definitely curious to see what's next.

I'd be highly surprised it the only reason they don't play it is Bruce. That hardly seems likely to stop Steve Harris.

8/10, like Revelations I like the lead guitars on this track, and Bruce sounds better here than he does on other parts of the album.

3/10. I really found nothing to like about this song. The lyrics are atrocious, Bruce's voice grates on me throughout the song, and the music, while not terrible, isn't good. Not sure yet if it's my least favorite Maiden song, certainly my least favorite Adrian/Bruce collaboration.

It sounds like a dick move the way he tells it, but the whole rant is so over-the-top and dripping with venom that I'd doubt it's 100% veracity.

Re: Forostar's Top 50 Iron Maiden songs The 90s tracks making their way into this list are certainly unique. I always thought Fates Warning was one of the few redeeming songs on No Prayer, though I doubt it would make my top 50.

A personal favorite of mine (Possibly because I'm a fencer though), with fantastic guitar work and lyrics by Bruce. I considered giving it a 9, but reluctantly concluded that overall, the song is not the equal of Aces High or Two Minutes To Midnight, which I gave nines, so a strong eight it is...
