Your least favourite song from every album

I don't find Dance of Death very inspiring I'm afraid. It's quite samey all the way through. Gates of Tomorrow is one of my favourites from the album though. The melodies are really nice.

Also, with RJD in Sabbath they produced their two greatest albums.

For the Greater Good of God

Re: Daily Song: For the Greater Good of God Not my favourite from the album, but I like the melodies and the oddness of the 'tell me now what love is' verse. 8/10.

    Gates of Tomorrow

Re: Daily Song: Gates of Tomorrow Agree with Jeffmetal. 8/10.

    Montsegur

Re: Daily Song: Montsegur I give it an 8. I like the verses and the chorus, and musically its up there, just not right at the top.

    Out of the Silent Planet

Re: Daily Song: Out of the Silent Planet 10/10. Another stonking masterpiece. I just love the intro guitar. Even though it's repetitive it just sounds fantastic. As soon as it kicks in it makes me want to play it myself (as if!!).

    Your Maiden blasphemy

I'm really not a great lover of When the Wild Wind Blows. I think the lyrics are quite weak.

    The Fallen Angel

Re: Daily Song: The Fallen Angel 10/10. There are no weak points on BNW whatsoever. The whole thing is utterly amazing from start to finish.

Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger

Re: Daily Song: Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger I just love it, and it gets a 9 from me mainly on the strength of the lead solo, which is amazing!

    The Unbeliever

Re: Daily Song: The Unbeliever Sounds similar to Look for the Truth, but I like the lyrics and as Prowler_108 and mckindog implied, the intro and middle section are way above average.

    These Colours Don't Run

How long will it be until this song is used in a washing powder advert or the like? There's one for a 'colour catcher' they are showing at the moment - clearly they are not familiar with Maiden's work.

    Look For the Truth

Re: Daily Song: Look For the Truth Definitely worth a 7. A good tune with interesting lyrics, and well sung in my opinion. I would give it more, but as others have implied it doesn't really have an 'amazing moment' like so many Maiden songs do.

    Favorite Non-Maiden live album

Definitely Alive at the Marquee by Bruce. Those Balls to Picasso songs really come alive. I can hardly listen to the studio album now.

    Lord of the Flies

Re: Daily Song: Lord of the Flies I agree about that distorted guitar - great riffs and a well sung tune. 7/10.

    Fear of the Dark

Re: Daily Song: Fear of the Dark We all seem to be quite liking the FOTD album don't we. That's good as it doesn't deserve much of the criticism in my opinion. I give the title track an 8. One of the best on the album without a doubt.

    Your Maiden blasphemy

I too think the X Factor is a bit overrated and like Cornfedhick I think the Final Frontier is OK. It drops a ton after starblind. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this about TFF. The last three tracks are just not up to the standard of the others.

    Weekend Warrior

Re: Daily Song: Weekend Warrior Another 6 from me. Its a song I like listening to but wouldn't seek out. The solos are fine and the verses enjoyable.

    Your Maiden blasphemy

    Hooks in You is awesome!

    Judas Be My Guide

Re: Daily Song: Judas Be My Guide A nice, catchy tune with above average guitar work, but doesn't quite do it for me somehow. 6/10.
