Can't agree with that. I think the overall story was handled very well (even though Ashley's storyline was confusing and a little rushed), and the subtle time loop reveal, I feel, worked perfectly and made for a nice plot twist at the end.

I can see why one would argue that Blair Witch is pointless, but as someone who didn't like the original film and thought it was outdated, the sequel/remake felt like a welcome addition to the franchise. It's my favorite of the 3 official movies. Haven't seen Legacy, so I can't give my opinion...
