Gene Simmons is a medical miracle. He doesn't run on oxygen, food and drink. He can do without it no problem. He runs purely on money instead. He needs that 12 grand.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

That song is far from a million bucks, but rather Budget Maiden. I'd still stick around, as it's one of the only passable songs off that album -Who knows, maybe it'd soar live. Playying Hooks in You for an encore is a surefire way to get me out of there though.

If they really want to use their inflatable plane, which is a reasonable quip, they could just play Tailgunner instead.

Now now, dogs shitting is a necessity. No Prayer isn't.

I don't own No Prayer - I have zero inclination to buy it because I think Maiden would have been better off skipping it all together.

    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

I suppose it depends on what LTD, I suppose. LTD has been around for decades, while E-II 11 years I think, and was introduced to replace the ESP Standard line (they made the LTD ST-1 Elites only for 1 year, and was then rebranded as E-II), so they could elevate the ESP brand name and charge even...

    Brave New World - Album

A little side argument here: Painkiller was very important for the early Primal Fear albums (which features... Former Gamma Ray singer and Rob Halford enthusiast Ralf Scheepers on vocals), not really Hammerfall or Gamma Ray. It actually had about zero impact on Hammerfall, who, if we're singling...

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

I do too, but Iron Maiden don't seem think it to be profitable enough, or something the fans want, or something they want to make. For some reason, they aren't doing it, and I guess they don't think it's worth the hassle. Steve hates editing, and he hasn't been in the habit of leaving it to...

    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

That is rather a false equivalency tbh - upper end LTDs are killer guitars with high-end specs. But yes, their prices have surged, and it has a lot to do with, I think, the line of thinking in how The Swatch Company flat-out decided to elevate Omega in the early 90s (the Swatch company owns most...

It's odd, but it is verified that's what happened to the Donington 2007 stuff.

They should at least release the audio on vinyl. That's where the margins are for physical media, especially when you do like a boxset or something.

    Any experience with ESP-LTD guitars?

LTD guitars are my favorite guitars. My ST1- Elites are the best guitars I've played. I had a cheap chinese Les Paul style too, LTD 256. The neck was very comfortable (rather good fret job too), and that is I think the singularly most important consideration.

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

No, but on the other hand, the realities of age does fit it. I don't expect Maiden to be around past 2030, though it might be a nice surprise if they do.

    18th Studio Album discussion

Yep. I mean, to most casuals, Maiden between 1980-1992 sounds roughly the same, as does the reunion material. The differences are more obvious to us more avid fans, as we view Maiden from a different, perhaps more detail-oriented perspective. And in there, the differences and variations are...

Richie plays the solo both in the studio version and in the music video. But it's probably written by Glenn, or, possibly, but not as likely, Richie writing the greatest Tipton solo Tipton never wrote. I did initially suspect Glenn played it because the sweeping was slightly sloppy sounding...

Tipton writes songs, plays a few notes here and there and gives Richie pointers on how to play some stuff. The Crown of Horns solo has Tipton written all over it, but it's obviously Richie playing it. Paich is the musical director for Toto nowadays. Nicko is still capable enough to play. Even at...

    18th Studio Album discussion

Which is why they made the ridiculous 100 euros Senjutsu CD boxset. :D Since sales volumes are down, they try to get some easy money by releasing expensive collectors things. I doubt Maiden lose money on the album production + sales, but yeah, the profits are nothing to write home about.
