Completely different situation and Dickinson has already stated his dislike (to put it lightly) for FOTD and NPFTD.
Also the post-reunion IM material happnes to range from quite good to great , nothing like the atrocities of the 2 nineties album (with Dickinson).
That would be a very bad idea for a tour and i can't believe people like trash like "bring your daughter..." or "Hooks in you " and would want to watch them live.
So many embarrasing songs on FOTD and NPFTD...

I don't usually judge other people 's taste but this is weird ....
So why aren't Iron Maiden in the hall of fame ?? Care to answer that ?? They've sold a ton of albums , they are still relevant and have n.1 albums everywhere but the U.S, they make huge tours (they can have over 50.000 people from Sweden to Brazil) , they are one of the most influantial bands...
I saw the band in 1995 during the x-factor tour and at a preety decent arena (for the Maien of that era) with a capacity of 6000 people (sold out of course) in Athens and it was the first time i was seeing Maiden live . I was impressed with how much better (and heavier) the x-factor songs...
May i ask where exactly did you "hear" that ?? It sold around 400 copies more than AMOLAD in its opening week. I don't know about week 2 but it must have done considerably better than AMOLAD .
Second week in Sweden , still n.1. Second week in Australia n.5 (from n.2). Second week n.4 in the netherlands (from n.2) .TFF seems to be doing better in its second week than AMOLAD did in its first, based on the first few second week posions that we have !!
It went up in its second week in Belgium (from 6 to 2) , fell slightly while staying at a very respectable 4 in the Netherlands (from 2) and fell to 11 in Ireland (from 3) .
As far as solid sales numbers go i don't think that we can get many except from a few from the very big markets (namely...
Much bigger , IMO like at least double since Maiden cds are selling abnormaly high in smaller markets. The cd must have done around 50k in its first week just in Scadinavia .
