Burning Ambition is just beaufitul. Even not being composed originally for Maiden, it stands for me as one of their best - simple and perfectly done - since I started listening this band.

Blazer Blazer was about to become bigger with ex-Be Bop Deluxe, Simon Fox, on drums. BB featured Nicko McBrain at the beginning of the band - who did a few gigs with them - then Pete Barnacle took the stool before joins Gillan. Fox was the 3rd and last drummer.

The earliest LP Nicko played on was Giltrap (1973) - kinda gospel record. I think it was recorded on the Fall of 1972. I digitalized the entire LP to my computer and uploaded one song to YouTube.

The ex-Blossom Toes bassist, Brian Belshaw, played along with Nicko in this piece. As a session musician he is also uncredited.

Forostar, Man's Trap album doesn't feature Clive Burr. I know it's the translated version of Idéal, but it was actually recorded (not just sung over) after Clive Burr left, with drummer Farid Medjane in late 1983.

I'm glad Blaze's been playing "Judgement of Heaven" since 2013. Enjoyed Anna Bakker doing her bits on the accoustic gig (i think it was the first time they did the song), and next year was amazed to see it with the full band.
