After a couple of days and many listens I find myself genuinely enjoying the song a lot more. My only real criticism is that the intro is way too stretched out due to that downscale section that (in my opinion) should have been cut out
I know it is a slightly contentious point but for me the...
I really hope the concept around Bels Feast is carried into the album. I really liked the poster and dark/mysterious vibe that it gave off. Or maybe it was all just for a music video
i was expecting something dark from Maiden following on from TBOS so country rock has really left me not knowing...
Very unmaidenish but i was digging it once it got going
the video was awesome and i liked the story of it
the production sounded better than TBOS but vocals sounded low in the mix? Or maybe that was my speakers
I am sure someone has already said this earlier in the thread.
I just heard that today (15/07) is St Swithins day and whether it rains or is sunny on 15th July then the weather for the following 40 days will be the same
wonder if “rain or shine” from Bruce’s video was to do with this being on...
I am sure this theory has been thought of but one thought is that the three titles are sub titles for parts of a Bels Feast epic. Like what Dream Theater or other prog bands have done
I very recently picked up a turntable as I have been flirting with the idea of getting into vinyl as a way to support my favourite bands after being a Spotify user for more many years supporting artists by going to gigs and t shirts (difficult to do with the absence of gigs...)
anyway it isn’t...

The mix has been well covered, it’s real bad. Drums, bass and vocals are way too overpowering.
The crowd noise, especially in Revelations...
I’m a big Janick fan but his solo in SOTC sounds awful :(
agree with the comments on the mix/production as well, sounds like a low budget bootleg
i saw LOTB twice in London in 2018, I cannot understand why they’d use audio from a show where Bruce was ill or not at his best. He sounded amazing...
Sorry if this has been raised by someone else already but with a lot of bands now putting on virtual experiences (e.g. Trivium, some of Wacken performances) do you think this would work in lieu of being able to put on normal shows
Although it seems that the recording gossip has already been debunked I am travelling to Paris today for work. If I am not too far away from the studio I could have gone for a maidenfans investigation
Technically I don’t think I have ever stopped binging, must be 16 years now since i first heard Edward the Great
I did drop out here and there in my 20s but I now work in my office I back to back albums nearly ever day
