    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

I think that's a quite usual practice at San Siro. I've seen this with other acts before.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Impossible to know. Now that SD have put out Dave Murray pickguard, maybe. But before that, I highly doubt it. I think his switch was mainly sound related (JBs have alnico magnets and are therefore smoother) and the switch to Hot Rails might have something to do with Maiden becoming a 3 guitar...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

I doubt they would record "BIG MAC $1.03" as part of the lip sync recordings. And he sounds like pure concentrated shite 99.5% of the time.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Motley Crue is the strangest case as the one member who should be lip-syncing, isn't.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

He does. For a very specific reason... He likes to play the guitar with the cable sometimes and uses it for his tricks. Dave was the last who made the switch to strictly wireless last year. Before it was some songs on wireless or cable only (except for outdoor shows with storms nearby, those...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

It's stuffing your ears while singing. Multiple singers who don't use IEMs spoke about this. Sammy Hagar is one of them. They simply cannot have something in their ears. A friend of mine bought a wireless IEM system when we used to play covers and he went to the stage without trying it. Mind...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

The thing with IEM's and singers is that some simply cannot sing with them in. I'd imagine Bruce is one of them. If that is the case, they should absolutely find a way to monitor the ramp better, since that's where most mistakes by Bruce happen. Especially now that there is no hole behind...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Yup. He admitted that he was inspired by Richie, who is a master improviser and he now improvises 80% of the Smith/Kotzen solos live and it seems that some of that has crept into Maiden performances. Especially this year. Agree on the Wasted Years riff/rest of the song tempo part. The riff is...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Watching this compilation Adrian seems very animated, especially during RTTH chorus and actually running on stage during some songs. I laughed at Bruce's "Shall we dance?" during 2MTM after almost crashing with Janick 20 seconds before. They raised the tempo of Aces High that only adds to the...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

It seems like the new signature Strat is now a designated Powerslave guitar for Janick. Played again yesterday on that song.

Dave Murray talks about his 1957 Fender Stratocaster (short article)

The next bridge was not a stock Fender bridge. Maybe the base of it, but at least the saddles are brass. They look like Charvel ones. But yeah, it seems that since the retirement, the original bridge is back minus the tremolo arm, which is not original.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Best footage of Janick's new signature Strat on stage. As I said before, the middle pickup seems to be changed for Hot Rails, otherwise it looks completely stock. This seemed to be the test run for this guitar, as you can see Janick going to Alan again and again presumably to adjust the guitar...

Dave Murray talks about his 1957 Fender Stratocaster (short article)

They did those? Anyways, they look similar to the Kahler ones and mount behind the nut. Do we have any info for how long the Rockinger bridge was on ghe Kossoff before they put the Charvel strat bridge on?

The biggest disaster show Maiden ever did?

Gotta be that 1984 Italy drunk gig that featured Hallowed Be Thy Trainwreck. Apparently that gig prompted the band to never dring before going on stahe again.
