Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Yeah the backing track sounds quite different, I’d say it’s either Adrian’s original demo or probably a recent backing track recorded by Adrian himself with drum machine or so.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

A video from Instagram of H playing the 50th Anniversary Jackson, a very great rendition of the TWOTW solo, it looks great, he also said he will use this guitar live, which is nice: Also, he still has the Rosso Corsa LP from TBOS era with him, as seen in the video standing behind Adrian...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Perfect, thanks for the advice, mate! The only thing is, I'm not entirely clear on the "tap tempo" term. Could you explain it to me, please?

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

A question for the pedal experts, it’s offtopic, but guitar-related, I got this delay pedal yesterday as a birthday present, how can I configure it to make it sound Maiden-ish, especially for some solos?

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

And I just watched Iron Maiden from Rock Am Ring 2005 and he uses the same axe for the second half of the song...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Great, thank you for this, mate. Also, I was watching the Ullevi 2005 gig and Dave seems to be using a black guitar during Iron Maiden (second half), first half he used the Cali Strat, and second half he used that strange guitar, it looks like a mexican-made Strat or so, which I think we've...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

@matic22 since you are the authority in this topic, I would like to ask you a question, what do you think that will happen regarding Adrian’s guitars as for 2026 RFYL? I have three possible scenarios (taking also into account that he could use the new 50th anniversary Jackson live, but also...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

A question, when did Dave acquire the ‘64 and what electronics did it have before the HSH route? Also, when did it get Kahlered?

    Watches

Hey, nice thread! I didn't know this one existed... anyway, I wear watches every day and my biggest passions are: Maiden, guitars and watches, so I would like to resurrect this thread with my two best watches! :)

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

That’s right mate. And I hope the main Lado is the black one, since the Silverburst one stole a lot of protagonism to it.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Yeah, that’s quite likely, I’d say that he will use the DT300 in drop D tuning for RTTH, TNOTB and IM (and even probably FOTD) and use the D Jackson for Clairvoyant. Also, it’s quite logical that one Lado will be the main standard tuned guitar, as happened with the Silverburst Lado in the middle...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

For 2026 it could happen that the new 50th anniversary Jackson becomes the main guitar (as Adrian switches main guitars every 10 years or so) and if he retires the drop-D prototypes, the green Jackson could become the new drop-D guitar along with the DT300 and even probably one of the Lados.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Yeah that’s right, the white Jackson should be dinged up but still at Maiden’s warehouse.
  17. sea.of.madness.1986

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

By the way, the white Jackson had a Kahler Steeler as well? Or did it have a standard Floyd? About the pickups, I’d assume the white Jackson had at first PAF/SD or so and during FOTD tour the neck pickup was replaced with a black DiMarzio PAF Pro, my assumption about that comes from the fact...

Cool pics mate, thank you, I love this guitar.
  20. sea.of.madness.1986

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I think that the neck humbucker on the white Jackson wasn’t replaced with a black Seymour Duncan during FOTD, it was in fact a black DiMarzio PAF Pro, in the photos it looks like it. Also, I didn’t know that the CAR Jackson had a Kahler Steeler, unless the document is wrong, I’ve always thought...
