I'll post something on topic-ish
Here's a photo of Adrians Lazer in action
I did shoot Joe an email about the build specs of Adrians Lado Silverburst (I didn't want to make the list long and exhausting).
He does this all the time with a lot of solos. Listen to HTBN from 82 vs 83, and 86/87 vs 88 (and there's multiple variations in those as well among them). I noticed with a lot of songs he changes things up after a while, especially if they're played often.
If you get a guitar with a cheape Floyd on it (Jackson JS32 Dinky, King V, etc.) replace the springs on it. I did that on my King V and it's soo much better, I could set it up with the old zinc ones and they kept catching and binding during use.
He had another SG in 82, hardtail. Seems like he got it somewhere in the US. A confirmed date he had it out was October 9th 1982, so some time around there
Red finish?
From the info I got being in a Lado group, it was carried with him during '86-'87 but never used, at least there's not any pictures showing him using it
Looks like they tried JCM800s in 1981, even though I have pictures from that tour of them with nothing but a wall of JMPs/Plexis
Maybe they gave it a whirl and didn't like it, or they rented it?
I can give some info on both setups

New Adrian sig! I had the feeling it was gonna happen tbh https://www.premierguitar.com/articles/25970-jackson-announces-new-scott-ian-and-adrian-smith-signature-models
I was towards the back, it was amazing. I was right under the PA and my chest was feeling Nickos bass drum. 10/10 gig, just wish the water bottles weren't $15 for 2 liters. Oh well
