We follow the band for so long and/or so closely that we think we know them.
But what we see from the outside and what is really going on behind the scenes are often two different things - we must never completely forget that.
I actually believe that Bruce isn’t xenophobic.
But somehow it’s...
"Dylan Gers Son of Iron Maidens Janick Gers" (festival poster) will be performing at the “November Rocks” festival (November 13, 2026). If I were him, I'd feel uncomfortable getting attention just because of that name.
Could it be that this also has to do with a personality trait of Bruce’s that may have become more pronounced over time as he’s gotten older?
That he gets very enthusiastic and excited quickly, and therefore also finishes things very quickly, because everything is already the absolute best...
Personally, I think they’ll record it in 2027. The late timeframe Bruce mentioned for his solo tour is very suspicious.
However, I don’t think we can rule out that the album has already been recorded just because there’s no evidence.
It wouldn’t be such an impossibility to do everything in...
The search function on this forum isn't very user-friendly. I can never find anything.
But there was an interview with Adrian where, a few weeks before the announcement of *Senjutsu*, he said there were no plans for a new album.
I don't remember the exact quote.
But the interviewer said...

No, I don't believe...
Do you think Steve is telling the truth?
How could he have been outvoted? Wouldn't Simon want to work for Maiden and make money? Steve, Bruce, and likely Adrian don't want to take a break either.
It must be somewhere in this forum, because I'm sure I read a quote here from a festival organizer who wanted to book Maiden about a year before the festival, and Rod replied that a Maiden tour is usually already set by that point.
See the interview thread.
I just had this idea:
The announcement of the 2027 tour hiatus was always just a marketing ploy to sell more tickets.
Now they need to start laying the groundwork for backtracking.
Here in the forum, some people always mention how far in advance a tour has to be...
There’s also a completely different interpretation, one that has nothing to do with emotions or age, and nothing is revealed about that:
The announcement of the 2027 tour hiatus was always just a marketing ploy to sell more tickets.
Now they need to start laying the groundwork for backtracking...
