In several RTS' I've played higher difficulty AI wouldn't actually be better, just get a quicker build speed and resources to the extent you would be permanently behind. I've never heard it called rubberbanding before though, everyone I've played with uses that term to describe the connection...

In metal I would say 7+ is long, 5-7 is average, 4mins or under I would think short. For rock, 3-4mins is much more common, and for older songs (the Beatles for instance) 2minutes is probably long :P

I actually enjoyed Rock Star, it used to be one of my favourite films (not watched it in a long while though admittedly). It's not the best film ever but the music helped with it, never expected Mark Wahlberg to sing either so that doesn't bother. I prefer the film version of 'We All Die Young'...
