I have heard a great many genres while I was growing up, be it through things my sisters would listen to (pop), people at school (varied from stuff like Slipknot, to rap, hip-hop, or boy-bands), my parents (anything from the 60's really) or what I heard in pubs/clubs. Hard Rock and Heavy Metal...

The post above and Cornfed's say it best. One of my first posts on this forum was album rankings, to which I got (and expected) an instant response of "You should give the Blaze albums another try" because I ranked them low. I have always found that people suspect a dislike of those two albums...

Sounds pretty damn cheap to me depending on where its from. At a supermarket I'd expect them to be cheaper, but at a pub/bar, most pints here are £3 or more, a bottle of cider costs me anywhere from £3.20 to £3.65 depending on the make.

No, you don't. But you should expect that most people do, and thus not be surprised when that is how it goes. Pretty much every survivor is on a metal band, because it reflects the forums preferences.
