It makes sense this is my highest rating as it's my favourite album. 2nd highest rating is 7.9 on PoM which is my second favourite album so I've probably been over generous here. Ah well.

Lucky you. I was listening to When The Wild Wind Blows when I was driving a few of my friends and they were like "Who's this?", I told them Maiden and they genuinely said "Oh but there's no screaming (meaning the growled death metal type vocals, not as in the NotB scream)" and I died inside.

No More Lies off of Death on the Road. I slagged the band off for putting this on the summer setlist and then rotating DoD and PFD (and then dropping PFD) but giving this more of a listen I can see why they like it. I hideously underrated the instrumental section too. Hadn't listened to it...

Speaking of spending less time on the forum, how many are taking a break after the tour restarts? I know I'm strongly considering it at the minute. Only problem is July 28th (my gig) is 5 and a half months after the tour starts which is a heck of a long time. I really don't want the set list...

Would've loved to have seen a TFF song make the last 10 (WTWWB, TT or CH ideally), very glad a 90's song made it. Next time SSoaSS and SotC will be repping the top 10 :P Most importantly, Hallowed won. YAY!
